Gower Power Co-op is involved in a fantastic initiative originally set up by Swansea Council called SCEES (Swansea Community Energy & Investment Scheme).
It is now an independent community benefit society run by a group of local enthusiasts. We installed 1400 solar panels on 9 schools and 1 care home in the Summer of 2016 using a short term loan from ethical investor Robert Owen Community Finance.
