Community Supported Agriculture survey
We have collated the results for the 1st hundred people to respond to our survey, some of which are summarised below:
91% of respondents said that they would buy more local and organic produce if it was available at a competitive price.
83% of respondents said that they felt it was important that there should be more opportunities for people in Swansea to get involved in food production and understand how it should be produced.
Over 28% were “very interested” in joining veg box scheme, with over 25% “very interested” in joining a meat co-operative…. With another 39% and 27% “quite interested” in each.
92% of people thought that building relationships between consumers and local producers is important for solving some economic and environmental problems.
The survey is still open until the end of the January (on the home page of our website). Please let people know about it, as respondents will be first to hear about the launch of our Community Supported Agriculture scheme. Many thanks to all of you who have taken part.
