Having returned very inspired from the 2nd International Conference on Complimentary Currencies, developing new alternative currencies for the Swansea area is high on the agenda for Gower Power Community Co-operative.
We will be seeking partners through HEFCW’s Strategic Insight Programme to carry out a scoping exercise.
The initial goal is to develop an option for future shareholders of our energy projects to receive dividends in complimentary currencies that help to support broader sustainability objectives.
